Minimum Rest Calculator

Per FAR 117.25 and your CBA, all pilots must receive at least 10 hours of rest between duty periods, which must include 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep opportunity. Rest begins no later than 15 minutes after block-in.

When returning to base, Crew Scheduling may authorize 11 hours of rest based on operational discretion. Pilots should confirm with Scheduling if unsure.

This tool does not calculate the 30-in-168 rule or deadhead-based rest. Local time assumed.
